FAMILY DEVOTION
Diving into God's Word, with people we love, in the place we call home.
WHAT TO DO:
- Head of the house leads, organizes, prepares the lesson, and facilitates family devotions for everyone in the house to follow.
- Schedule a weekly day, time, and location in the house for devotions.
- Sit near each other and be open to speak and listen to one another, and to God.
- For a good devotional experience, do not worry about the clock, but keeping the time around 15 minutes is recommended.
- Block out all distractions and focus on God and the family. Put those phones away for a bit.
- Let family devotion time have a carry over effect into your entire household dynamic.
